Saturday 16th May - walks *** – Around Felixstowe – mainly cloudy.

I woke just before 6 and Mag had already gone on her early morning prom walk so I decided to have a quick drive round to take a few weather pics with the first stop being the Cliff top car park where the sun was just about to clear a large bank of cloud! The tide was very low and the breeze light so I walked out onto the shingle bar to take some beach huts reflections, it was worth getting wet feet for! Second stop was my favourite Felixstowe Ferry where I had a walk around the boatyard before returning home to sort out my photos with fruit bread toast and a cuppa! Had a lazy start then but did manage my exercises, I started in the garden but it clouded over and was a tad nippy. Picnic lunch was easy today as we had some tuna pasta and sausage rolls so all I had to do was make a flask before we headed to our go to spot these days in the Spa Garden just past the theatre where the Magpie entertained us over lunch before returning home hoping to watch the Red Roses play France to see who wins the Ladies 6 Nations only to discover the match is tomorrow!
